Day Five was sadly the last day of our crazy, uncomfortable, and life changing stay at RYLA revolving around internal group bonding and making new friends out of our groups. It was a little weird at first but like we’ve heard over and over, you need to become comfortable being uncomfortable and that’s exactly what we did. Although we’re all leaving and going back home, some of us farther away from RYLA than others, our memories and experiences will follow us.
Fish Bowl
The conferees discuss their experience at RYLA and how it will help them moving forward. Also, they mention their favorite part about RYLA and why. All the conferees have positive attitudes going into the Fish Bowl to share with each other what they think of their RYLA experience. It's a great reflection for the conferees on the conference as a whole.
Olympic Scavenger Hunt
This event was competitive and fun as the groups scrambled to find the desired items. It required the conferees’ spirit, teamwork, and positive attitudes among one another. Although one group came up victorious, everyone's a winner at RYLA.
Graduation
The Graduation was our last activity at RYLA, and was our last chance to continue the RYLA SPIRIT! The Graduation comprised of all the rest of the groups’ presentations. This was a time to share our experiences to our parents and to show what we have been working on for the past week. The parents were happily pleased with our projects, and WE ROCKED THE GRADUATION. Like Dr. Suess said, don’t cry that RYLA is over, SMILE because it happened!
